Trislot

Slot tubes are welded structures with the support profiles being rods in the axial direction of the tube and surface profiles spirally wound around the support profiles.

Flat Welded Screens are structures where the surface profiles are welded at each intersection at 90° angles onto support profiles.

A Flat Screen is simular to a Flat Welded Screen, the only difference being that they are manufactured by opening and flattening slot tubes.

Features:

• flatness to within tight tolerances
• no weakening of the welds, because of flattening (and no stress corrosion problems as a result)
• accurate distance between support profiles
• possibility of different support wires in one screen
• possibility of variable spacing between support wires in one screen

• Sieve bend for dewatering or classification
• Catalyst support grids (reactor internal)
• Cylinder and conical baskets
• Vibrating screens, dryers and coolers

If the slot tubes are used as a carrier for another filter medium for example textile. The surface profile can be:

• reversed triangular
• round
• diamond shaped

In case of round wire the support tubes can be welded with 1, 2 or 3 wires next to each other.

Features:

• A smaller contact between the support tube and the filter media there is more active filter area, which creates a larger active filter media and a smaller pressure drop. Thorough cleaning by back flushing possible.
• A strong mechanical construction
• Large open area
• Easy to clean (back flushing)

Cylinders and Conical Baskets consist of one or more Flat Screens or Flat Welded Screens rolled to form and welded together.

Conventional construction of Cylinders or Conical Baskets is with an axial slot direction and a FOTI filtration direction (although FITO is also possible)

The minimum internal diameter is 25 mm and in principle all diameters, lengths and widths are possible. The same surface and support profiles as for the welded screens are used.

The Cylinders and Conical Baskets can be equipped with flanges, reinforcements or special fittings to suit your needs.

Trislot^® continuous cylinders are direct manufactured products, made in the same way as slot tubes. By using a lot of support profiles, axial slots are obtained

For every different slot opening a new tooling is necessary. So continuous cylinders are only interesting for large quantities. For lower quantities a cylinder is more cost effective.

Normally continuous cylinders are made for FITO and have triangular or round surface profiles.
