Python™ Air Cooler

The AESSEAL® Python is an advanced air cooled heat exchanger for cooling mechanical seal barrier / buffer / flush fluids.


Air cooling is achieved through natural convection without the need for cooling water. The unit consists of a tube formed into a coil, terminated with inlet and outlet manifolds. The Python is available in both 8m single and 16m dual coil arrangements.

CHEMRAZ®

   Greene Tweed's Chemraz® has the broadest chemical resistance of any elastomeric material, combining the resilience and sealing force of an elastomer with chemical resistance approaching that of PTFE. Chemraz O-rings, quad-rings, gaskets and custom elastomeric shapes last longer and seal completely in harsh environments and over a wide range of temperatures (-20°F to 615°F, -29°C to 324°C). Chemraz is the cost-effective solution to the most difficult sealing problems in many industries, particularly PetroChem & Power. Chemraz works to solve the most difficult sealing problems, ranging from those found in pump housings and reactors to those in mixers and valves.

XYFLUOR®

   Some challenging applications require good chemical resistance at low temperatures. Other applications require the excellent resistance to harsh chemicals that perfluoroelastomers, like Chemraz®, provide. In the past, if a seal was required to function at extremely low temperatures, the application engineer was forced to consider a low-temperature elastomer such as silicone and sacrifice the chemical resistance. Now, with Xyfluor®, the choice is clear, Xyflour® offers broad chemical compatibility combined with low-temperature flexibility. Greene, Tweed's Xyfluor provides excellent resistance to solvents such as acetone, MEK, DMSO, and alcohols while at the same time withstanding steam autoclave sterilization.

V-ball Control Valve

Neway's V-ball control valves are composed of a V-notch ball valve, actuator, along with other accessories. It utilizes compressed air to force the stem down driving the ball to rotate 90 deg within the body, going from fully open to fully closed in a short amount of time. The valve plug with the V-notch design has flow-cut capabilities, making it excellent at controlling flow rate, and allowing for easy shut-off. Equipped with either a pneumatic or electric actuator, it can be made to work with with accessories such as a positioner or solenoid valve by adjusting the ratio. Soft seal and metal seal are optional sealing types made available.

Eccentric Rotating Control Valve

Control Valves

Neway's eccentric rotating valve features a novel design. It features an approximately cylindical body and valve plug with a spherical surface in the centre, which is offset from the stem's rotating centre. When the stem drives the disc, the valve plug's spherical rotating surface becomes offset from the centre body through the cam-shaped track curve. When the valve begins closing, the flexible stem of the valve plug causes elastic deformation to occur, forcing the valve plug's spherical surface to become tightly adhered to the seat, thus forming a highly reliable seal. When equipped with either a pneumatic or electric actuator, accessories such as a positioner or solenoid valve can be utiilzed, which can be achieved by adjusting the ratio. Soft seals and metal seals are optional sealing types available for this product.

Neway's bellow seal single-seated control valve features a simple structure, top-guided design, S-shaped passageway, precise adjustments, and cost-effectiveness. The bellow sealed top bonnet allows for elimination of any potential leakage from the stem. The anti-rotation design helps prevent bellow damage caused by the torque generated from adjusting the valve in the assembling process. Because of the included self-deformation and the excellent anti-aging capabilties of the bellow, issues related to the packing aging and temperature sensitivity that apply to tradtional valves no longer apply.

Neway's axial flow check valve is a streamlined venture port design which allows for decreased pressure loss. This series' valve disc is the only moving part in order minimize internal wear, while the compressed disc spring initiates valve closure as flow slows down, providing an almost immediate reaction to a change in flow velocity. It can be used in a wide range of critical and demanding applications such as fast reversing reciprocating compressor systems, or installations where the check valve must be placed in close proximity to the pump inlet or outlet.

Non-Seal Pump (Canned Motor Pump)

Basic Structure


Nikkiso's non-seal pumps contain no shaft seals; the canned motor and pump are integrated into a single housing. The stator has a two-layer structure, consisting of the stator liner, stator band, and an extremely tight terminal plate, allowing for a higher degree of safety. When the pressure is raised by the impeller, the liquid is then sent to the discharge side. Some of this liquid is also sent to the motor in order to lubricate the bearings and cool the motor. Finally, the remaining liquid is returned to the suction side through the vents on the shaft (regular model).

Wedge wire is a welded steel structure, mainly used for filtration, separation and retention media.

 

Wedge wire has the following advantages:

  • Non-clogging: the continuous slot formed by the V-shaped surface wires ensures a two-point contact between the particles and the slot, which minimizes clogging.

Flat Welded Screens & Flat Screens

     Flat Welded Screens are structures where the surface profiles are welded at each intersection at 90° angles onto support profiles.

      A Flat Screen is simular to a Flat Welded Screen, the only difference being that they are manufactured by opening and flattening slot tubes.

  • no weakening of the welds, because of flattening (and no stress corrosion problems as a result)

Support Tubes

     If the slot tubes are used as a carrier for another filter medium for example textile. The surface profile can be:

In case of round wire the support tubes can be welded with 1, 2 or 3 wires next to each other.

     Cylinders and Conical Baskets consist of one or more Flat Screens or Flat Welded Screens rolled to form and welded together.

      The minimum internal diameter is 25 mm and in principle all diameters, lengths and widths are possible. The same surface and support profiles as for the welded screens are used.

      The Cylinders and Conical Baskets can be equipped with flanges, reinforcements or special fittings to suit your needs.

Continuous Cylinders

     Trislot® continuous cylinders are direct manufactured products, made in the same way as slot tubes. By using a lot of support profiles, axial slots are obtained

     For every different slot opening a new tooling is necessary. So continuous cylinders are only interesting for large quantities. For lower quantities a cylinder is more cost effective.

     Normally continuous cylinders are made for FITO and have triangular or round surface profiles.

Reflex Type Level Gauge

Direct Reading Type Glass Level Gauge

This model of gauge is built using fastened reflective glass, which is a long thick sheet of tempered glass with grooves provided on one side of it, in between a gauge body and cover with bolts, facing the grooved side to liquid in the body. The gaseous part appears silvery white as the incident light is reflected on the grooves, while the liquid part appears black as the light goes into the liquid without reflection. Therefore, liquid level can be indicated distinctly even if the gauge is applicable for a clear transparent liquid.

  • This type of level gauge employs two tempered flat gauge glasses, each of which is laid opposite in front and in the rear of gauge body. The glasses are sandwiched by gauge covers and fastened with bolts. Liquid level is sighted through the glasses.
  • For applications involving a sticky liquid that would tend to adhere over the glass surface and make the liquid level obscure, gauge glasses with special adhesion-free coating are employed.

The gauge body of this model is formed by a trapezoid in its cross sectional view, in order to form a prism when a clear liquid comes in contact with opposing two glasses. With this unique design in addition to the aid of an illuminator installed at the rear of the gauge to provide with red and green lights, the level of the liquid can be clearly recognized by the boundary of the two colors, that occurs with the difference of refraction caused by existence or non-existence of the liquid. Since the gauge of this type is functional only with clear, transparent gas and liquid, it is mostly used for boiler applications which are comprised of water and steam.

By employing a round glass window, the MT model is most suitable for ultra-high pressure and temperature operating conditions. The model is enabled to read the boundary surface of two non-mixing liquids the same as a regular transparent type level gauge can do, but is also much more suitable for high temperature steam services and corrosive liquid chemical services. Additionally by installing an illuminator to the back of the gauge, the liquid level can be read clearly even in dark environments.

When compared to the flat type two-color level gauge, this type is designed to withstand higher pressure and temperature by employing a number of round visual windows, it is suitable for critical applications under very high pressure and temperature such as a boiler drum.

The tubular type level gauge is the most simplified gauge in the level gauges. Consisting of the gauge valve and gauge tube (glass tube or resinous tube), a protection is mounted over the gauge tube.

THe MG series is able to display the liquid level without glass but a magnetic indicator. An indicator mounted vertically along the outside of the liquid chamber is driven clearly for level indication by magnetic forces that comes from a magnet housed in a float which floats on the surface of the liquid.

  • A series of electrode plugs is mounted on the detector which is arranged vertically in one row or two rows depending on the application. Because of difference of electrical resistance between water and steam, the electric current that passes through an electrode which is exposed to the liquid part differs from that of the gaseous part. The difference of the current is processed by the processor, then turn on lamps on the panel of processor. Water level can be indicated on a remote indicator placed in a control room and/or on the panel of the processor at a job site by turning on green lamps for liquid part and red lamps for gaseous part.
  • This gauge is of use most for a boiler drum under very high pressure and temperature.
  • This gauge is the only electrode type water level gauge developed and produced in Japan.

Glycerin Bath Type Pressure Gauge

This type of gauge is best suited for environments with large amounts of vibration present. Its interior is filled with liquid, preventing the vibration of moving parts and wear of  the interior linkage mechanism, making maintenance easier and less frequent.

Signal Conditioners

Corrosion Monitoring

CorrTran MV is the first 2-wire, 4mA … 20mA HART transmitter that evaluates general corrosion and localized (pitting) corrosion, as well as conductivity, in real-time. Separator Alarm Systems

An alarm system is used in the separator to detect the volume of the light liquid and/or the maximum level of a liquid. This ensures the safe and economic operation of separators for light liquids, also known as oil and petrol separators. The requirements for this type of separator systems has been defined in the European standard EN 858-1. It is a condition for the CE mark and defines the criteria for a device raising an alarm if the light liquid or liquid waste level is too high or the liquid waste level is too low.

 

The alarm system and the sensors guarantee an increased level of safety, simple installation, and an application-oriented monitoring of oil and petrol separators. The signalling of alarms can be acoustic,visual, transmitted remotely via potential-free relay contacts or via SMS. The sensors of the alarm systems are approved for use in explosive areas of zone 0.

Cable Heaters

The versatile Watlow coil/cable heater can be formed into a variety of shapes. Cable heaters are small diameter, high-performance units, fully annealed and readily bent to a multitude of configurations. The cable heater can be formed into a compact, coiled nozzle heater supplying a full 360 degrees of heat with optional distributed wattage. A straight cable heater can snake through an equipment application. Flat spiral configurations can be used in high-tech manufacturing while a star wound cable can be used for air and gas heating. Whatever the application, the Watlow cable heater can be shaped to fit.

Ceramic Fiber Heaters

Ceramic fiber heaters offer some of the highest temperature heating element capabilities in the Watlow family of heaters. Heating units constructed of ceramic fiber insulation isolate the heating chamber from the outside. Ceramic fiber heaters are extremely low mass, high insulation value units with self-supported heating elements. Many applications can benefit from the convenience of the heating element and insulation combined into one package. Its lightweight, low-density properties make it ideally suited for high temperature applications requiring low thermal mass.

Advanced Sintered Ceramic Heaters

The ULTRAMIC® ceramic heaters from Watlow® are designed for thermal applications where the high performance of an advanced ceramic heater is required to ensure optimal effectiveness of the equipment and process. ULTRAMIC ceramic heaters are constructed of aluminum nitride (AlN) and incorporate a thermally matched proprietary heating element that provides maximum performance in challenging applications. AlN is especially suitable for applications requiring a clean, non-contaminating heat source. Additionally, the excellent geometric stability ensures consistent part-to-part thermal contact during heating cycles.

Flexible Heater Foils and Pads
